Hey, here's the official recruiting blurb on the ESO forums:
That's pretty much the full deal! We have been working as a guild so far on our Clan Skills, and levelling up. Future "raid" goals are indeterminate, and we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
We are an Alliance, actually. The Alliance is called Lychee and the clans involved are named Lychee and Rambutan. Future clan names have been decided upon and are also asian fruits. Chat occurs in Alliance chat, so we're all one big happy family!
Hello, Sy here, on the West Coast server Ancestral Ruins.
"Lychee" is so named because they only allow 8-character clan/alliance names (8!).
That might work great with Chinese characters, that's practically a
paragraph of information, but for English, we get "Lychee" ^_^ I'm
pretty ok with it, actually, as Lychee is my favorite Chinese fruit.
I'm a young married female from near Seattle, WA. I prefer to solo
usually, unless running an instance or doing something extra-hard. I've
GMed guilds before, but I've never specified soloers before,
I'm pretty sure it's going to cut down on my guild numbers, but hey,
they only allow 15, so maybe that's alright. =) I say soloers so that
we can all do our lone wolf thing, and nobody's feelings will get hurt.
Guild members are expected to be able to speak clearly and form
cohesive sentences. Emphasis on *can*, you aren't required to do so at
all times, but if it seems like you lack the ability, you won't get in. We're looking for well-spoken (well-read?) individuals for intelligent conversation within the game.
ESO time is play-time, we don't discuss IRL troubles, controversial
issues like religion or politics, or gossip or trash-talk. We're here
to have fun, let's focus on that, eh?
This will be a very small group, and because of this I'd like to
recruit active individuals who are able to play at least 4 nights per
week. I do not play Tues, Wed and Sun nights, although I usually get in
some late-night hours on those nights even so. I am likely to play from
7-11 on good nights, 9:30-11 on the aforementioned evenings.
Also because we'll be such a cozy group, I'd like to recruit nice people.
You know who you are. People who care about other folk's emotions, do
their best to avoid being misunderstood through chat, and who have
social harmony on their to-do list, even on bad days. If you like to
gripe, are a gloomy person, or would never place yourself in a
personality category of "sunny", please move right along, we're a bunch
of happy folk here. =)
So! Happy, conscientious, caring, literate soloers, please send me a
private message on these forums, and the application questions will be
sent to you. If the idea of an application seems a bit much, just
remember that your fellow guildies will all have been screened for you,
won't that be nice? =)
Here's to ESO, a beautiful and fun game!
